I hope things are going well with you. As I said, I am in need of your help. How you might ask?
Well, the crew and myself are heading to North Carolina with our contest winner, Genevieve, to learn how mirrors are made. We are so excited about this show and are so happy to have Genevieve and her family joining us on this awesome quest. While we are in North Carolina, we decided to do a couple of other shows as well.
Guess what we will be doing? Ok, I won't make you guess. I will just tell you.
We are going to be heading to a goat farm to learn all about goats. I don't know the first thing about these adorable animals. Do you? There is so much I would like to know about them, but I want to hear what you would like to know. What have you always wondered about goats? Let me know, so I can be sure to ask while I am filming the show.
Lastly, and this is a big one . . . we are going to be learning how NASCARs are built! Can you believe it? I know, me either! We are going to learn, first hand, how these amazing vehicles are made. What do you want to know about NASCARs? What should I ask the experts? Comment below and let me know!
Thank you again for being such awesome fans. Stay tuned on Facebook to get updates about how our trip is going and for awesome giveaways.
In the meantime,
Stay Curious!
~ Joel
What's the difference between a wool goat and a dairy goat?
ReplyDeleteHow is it that crossing an angora goat with a pygmy goat will end up producing cashmere-quality wool? True cachmere goats are a different breed altogether.
you will have to catch the show that we just did to find out the answer to this one. Thank you so much for your post. I did ask it today. The biggest difference between wool and dairy is they are bread for different purposes. One for hair (wool) and the other for milk. Thank you again - Joel

Is it true that goats can tell if it's going to rain? Why do they go to higher ground before rain pours?
ReplyDeleteI am using my mom computer. I would like to know how they make marbles, especially the cat eye ones. Thank-You Joe Green

DeleteDid you know goats' eyes are on the sides of their heads so they can see things coming up behind them?
ReplyDeleteHow can a NASCAR go so fast without flipping over like a regular car would? How fast do they go anyway? Do they have seat belts? What happens to the drivers if they crash?

They did say that the goats can see an amazing distance around them, but not nessarly what is behind them. Can't wait for you to see this show. Thank you

ReplyDeleteHey Joel, I got to know this about race cars. Have you seen the Disney Pixar movie Cars? It's about a race car nmed Lightnig MaQueen. So the race car finds himself in this small town, and he challenges the old Huntson Hornet to a race on dirt. The Huntson Hornet told him to get out of a skid, if you go hard enough right, then you'll go left. Why is that? Why is that if you go hard enough right on a turn or a skid that you'll go left?
ReplyDeleteJoel, I've seen in movies where a kid bends over and the goat hits them in the butt with their horns. Is that true? Would a goat do that? Joel, I suggest you bend over and test it out. If it's true, that would be a really funny shot.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I love your question. Just so you know I did not get down and challange a goat. I'll tell you why. They do knock their heads together all the time. I saw it with my own eyes. They do this to prove who is the most powerful goat in the heard. If I were to try this, it would not have been pretty. They his really hard. I can't wait for you to see this show. We talked about this very question whe asked on the show. Thank you again. - Joel
DeleteI raised two Kashmir goats from the time they were babies. One of them enjoyed butting heads with me, but I had to stop doing that with him after he was about a year old or I would've risked suffering concussions.
DeleteNever allow your arm to get between a goat's horns, as this can risk breaking your arm. (Thankfully that's never happened to me.)
I would like to know how you could join NASCAR and if it is a sport? Additionaly what is that special paint that makes a mirror reflect so perfectly and how do they make it?
ReplyDeleteAn idea for another topic is learning more about Electric Bass. In the show before I know you had an episode on guitars and maybe a show about how Electric Basses are made and the different kinds there are.
Dear Joel, How are race car drivers protected?

Thank you to all of you for your wonderful input. Because of your help, these are going to be awesome shows!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow were synthesizer keyboards invented, and how are they made? The first synth was invented by Robert Moog, I believe. Moog also built theremins, which are also really cool.
